This video is interesting because the when they are arrested, one car thief decides to take a time out and check out a book.

A couple of guys decide to "borrow" a vehicle and take it out for a spin. They are excited and congratulate each other - a lot.

Later on, they wonder if they stole a Bait Car. Then they comment on how "crazy" it would be if their arrest video was published on BaitCar.com and are able to watch themselves get "pinched".

Bait cars give police and the public an insider's view of what is going on inside a stolen vehicle.

In this case, the car thieves can be heard planning their next crimes, smoking crystal meth or crack, setting off fireworks from the moving car, and planning a pursuit with police before their arrest.

Two women in a stolen bait truck pick up a friend who was going to give them a "hoot" of crystal meth, or methamphetamine. Instead, all three are arrested despite the high hopes of the female passenger who states, "I hope this isn't another f**kin' bait car man!"

This incident is the first arrest of a woman driving a stolen bait car in British Columbia and it occurred in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. The 36-year-old female driver was convicted of theft and was sentenced to 45 days in jail and nine months probation. The 21-year-old female passenger was sentenced to a one year conditional sentence and one year probation.

The male passenger was aquitted.
